I received a pair of shoes that are defective. I emailed shoebuy and said I didn't feel a restocking fee and return shipping fee was appropriate given the shoes were defective.
I received a response that they would either provide me a 30% refund or return for full refund (not including return shipping cost / restocking fee). I responded I would accept the offer of 30% refund. I have sent emails 10 times to customer service asking when I should expect the refund to post to my credit card. Each time I receive a generated email with basic information.
They are not taking customer calls and direct everything to email.
How does anyone resolve anything that isn't a basic return or purchase?
I've had positive experiences in the past, but this is absolutely infuriating.
Unless you are 100% sure about what you are buying... Buyer beware

What kind of business ignores its customer for a week? Then i called. It refers back to email them and they hang up on you. Why have a phone number if you are going to refer the customer to email?

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. I filed official complaints online with the Better Business Bureau & the Federal Trade Commission as well as posted details about the difficulties I had with shoes.com on several online consumer complaint websites.Shoes.com did not respond to the 1st notice from the BBB, so I was asked to provide additional information.
Within 3 days of filing this 2nd complaint, shoes.com notified me that a refund had finally been issued to me. (It took over a month to get this matter resolved.).
On June 28, 2021, the Better Business Bureau emailed me regarding my complaint about shoes.com.In this email, I was informed that shoes.com did not respond to the BBB's notice regarding the non-issuance of a refund for the unworn pair of sandals I had shipped back to their warehouse, and I was asked to provide additional information regarding this problem.So I added information regarding what I had found out about this e-store. I mentioned the fact that I had filed an official complaint online with the Federal Trade Commission, that I had discovered that scores of customers had submitted complaints similar to mine on websites such as pissedconsumer.com, ripoffreport.com and other similar consumer complaint websites and that I was in the process of filing an official complaint with the Attorney General of the state in which I reside.On July 1, 2021, i.e., three days after submitting this second report to the BBB, I received an email from shoes.com in which I was told that a refund for the returned sandals had been issued to me and that it would take five or so business days for this refund to post to the credit card account I had used to make the original purchase.
I waited the requisite number of days, then checked my credit card account. And, voila, a month after the returned item had been received, the refund was finally processed.Be that as it may, I will NEVER buy anything from shoes.com ever again. And neither should anyone else. IMHO, of course.To everyone who has lost his/her money doing e-commerce with shoes.com, I strongly encourage you to file your stories online with the Better Business Bureau, with the Federal Trade Commission (ftc.gov) and with your state's Attorney General office.
It may take a few weeks to get your particular issue resolved, but filing your complaints with official consumer protection organizations and/or government agencies remains the best way both to get your money back AND to have shoes.com put on official government notice for their years-long illegal business practices. You work hard for your money. Don't let companies like shoes.com steal it from you. And get away with this criminal act.If I was able to get the refund that was legally mine to claim and to receive, then so should you.File your complaints.

I returned a pair of sandals purchased online at shoes.com to their warehouse, where it was received on 6/10/21. It is now 6/18/21, but I have NOT received my refund of $118.95 for these never-worn sandals.
I have emailed shoes.com regarding the non-issuance of my refund, but all I get back are canned replies.
When I call Customer Service, I am placed on endless holds and am told to email.
I have since checked other customer complaint websites and have found hundreds of similar complaints. NO refunds. Incompetent and unresponsive customer service.
I have filed my grievance regarding shoes.com online with the Better Business Bureau and with the FTC. I will be filing more complaints with my state Attorney General as well as posting my complaint on other websites.
I will not stop filing these notices until I get the refund which I am LEGALLY owed and until I warn every potential shoes.com customer to avoid this online company completely.
They are a total fraud. They need to refund every single penny they stole from hundreds of customers over the past several years.

I ordered my daughter some boots both daughters on December 6 my credit card was charged there is no information listed About it being shipped I have emailed the company four times with no response I paid $120 and I am expecting my product to be delivered. Can't get my money back
I returned a pair of shows on Nov. 30th and I cannot get my credit card reimbursed.
I have never had a problem like this before. I have emailed shoes.com 5 times and no one responds. It said it can take 2 to 10 business days to get a refund. This is way past that.

I ordered my daughters boots on December 6 and they still have not shipped I have emailed customer service four times with no response I tried to call the number and it tells me to email these boots are for Christmas and I would like to get them before then. I have ordered from them before with no problem but for some reason you cannot reach anyone to check on the status and it says It has not been shipped. I am kind of getting frustrated and need a solution to this problem.

I spent over two hours trying to download the return label for one pair of shoes. Their website is frozen and it is impossible to download.
I have contacted customer service with the problem and asked them to email me a return label. Now, the website is showing that I have two pairs of the same shoe to be returned which is incorrect and the download label here is still not functioning.
